As part of the submission process, authors are required to confirm compliance with the following. Submissions may be returned if they do not follow these requirements:

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  • The file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF format.

  • Where available, URLs for references have been provided.

  • The text is single-spaced, uses 12-point font, employs italics rather than underlining (except for URLs), and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at appropriate points, not at the end.

  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Preparation of Original Research Manuscripts

Writing Style

  • British English

  • Times New Roman, font size 12

Manuscript Structure
Original manuscripts should include (where applicable):

  • Title

  • Author(s) and Address

  • Abstract (unstructured, max 250 words)

  • Introduction

  • Materials & Methods

  • Results

  • Tables and Figures

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Recommendations

  • Limitations

  • Acknowledgment

  • References

  • Conflict of Interest

Length

  • Maximum: 4,500 words (including abstract, references, tables, and figures)

  • Main body: 4,250 words

Units
All measurements must be in SI units.

Title
Concise, max 150 characters, reflecting the research and findings.

Authors
Provide full names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses.
The corresponding author’s email and phone number must be included.
Email addresses of co-authors should be listed in the cover letter.

Keywords
Provide up to 7 keywords in alphabetical order.


Section Details

Introduction
Background, justification, hypotheses, objectives, with relevant citations.

Materials and Methods

  • Research design, materials, and equipment described in detail.

  • Clear description of interventions/treatments.

  • Inclusion and exclusion criteria.

  • Statistical tools and software used.

  • Statement of ethical clearance for human/animal studies.

  • Patient anonymity preserved.

Results

  • Clear, concise, and free from repetition.

  • Figures and tables placed within text.

  • High-quality images with descriptive legends.

Discussion

  • Interpretation of results.

  • Main findings, strengths and weaknesses.

  • Comparison with similar studies.

  • Unanswered questions and future directions.

Conclusion
Brief summary of findings, implications, and recommendations.

Acknowledgment
Mention significant non-author contributors.

Conflict of Interest
Authors must declare conflicts of interest (or state none).


Referencing Style

The journal follows the Vancouver style.

  • References numbered in the order they appear.

  • Superscript numbers placed after punctuation.

  • et al. in italics.

  • List up to 6 authors; if more, list first 6 followed by et al.

  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
